Overview

Welcome to the Pass4IT Privacy Centre. We appreciate your right to privacy, and by providing you with this notice, we promise to maintain that promise. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as we will explain how your data is gathered and used in the sections that follow. You acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, our Terms and Conditions, which are located here, or any other customer agreement between you and Pass4IT that is applicable to the specific Service you are using or accessing (collectively, “User Agreements”) by using or accessing the services described below.

Important: Please quit and avoid accessing or using the Service if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy and the relevant User Agreement.

This privacy statement outlines Pass4IT privacy practices with regard to all Pass4IT software, products, and applications, including without limitation mobile software and applications (collectively, the “Software & Products”); the Pass4IT websites found at https://www.Pass4IT.com/ and any other Pass4IT websites or services that link to this privacy statement (collectively, “Pass4IT”). The term “Service” refers to all of the Pass4IT software and products, websites, and other goods and services that connect to or mention this privacy statement. In connection with our Service, Pass4IT collects, discloses, stores, transfers, and utilizes data that could be used to uniquely identify our users (“Personal Data”).

As detailed in further detail below, this Privacy Policy does not apply to the actions of third parties. In this privacy statement, references to “we,” “us,” “our,” and similar expressions refer to Pass4IT. References to “you,” “your,” and similar expressions refer to any user of the Service, and references to “Pass4IT Affiliates” refer to any parent company, subsidiary, member, officer, director, employee, agent, or contractor of Pass4IT, as well as any other entity that shares control with Pass4IT.

New users who use or access the Service on or after the Effective Date are subject to this policy immediately. Users who access or use the Service prior to the Effective Date are subject to this policy as of the Effective Date.

Personal Information We Collect in Different Types

Pass4IT gathers personal information about you when you give it to us directly, when third parties, like our business partners (such as organizations with which we integrate our service), service providers (such as our advertising service providers), or when it is automatically gathered in connection with your use of our service, provide it to us. When you use the Service, you voluntarily provide us with the following personal information:

Processing of Personal Data

Only when we have a valid reason, will we utilize your personal data. Consent, contractual need, our “legitimate interests” or the legitimate interests of others are all acceptable legal reasons for processing.

Sharing of Your Personal Data

Vendors, third-party service providers, and agents who perform tasks for us and offer services associated with the Service may receive Personal Data from us.

Business Moving

In connection with a business transaction (or the assessment of a potential business transaction), such as a merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy, Pass4IT may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of its business or assets, including your Personal Data. You understand that such transfers may take place and that any prospective buyer or asset owner of Pass4IT or its assets may continue to use your personal information in accordance with this privacy statement.

Security

We are committed to protecting the information we collect from you because we consider the security of your information to be a vital issue. Depending on the type of Personal Data and applicable processing activity, we use commercially reasonable security measures to guard against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. These measures include data encryption in transit, data encryption at rest (for customers who choose to purchase our “private cloud” solution), pseudonymization, and the application of least privilege and need-to-know principles.

Data Storage

As long as you have an active account with us or as long as it is otherwise necessary to provide you with the Service, we retain Personal Data about you for the duration specified in our Service Agreement with you. This retention period is typically 30 days after the Service is terminated, but it may be shorter upon request (except when required by law). When it comes to meeting our legal duties, resolving disputes, collecting fees owed, or in other situations where it is allowed or required by applicable law, rule, or regulation, we occasionally keep Personal Data for longer periods of time. Any such Personal Data will be erased or rendered unreadable after disposal. After that, we save some data in an aggregated or depersonalized form but not in a way that would allow us to identify you.

Updates on Privacy Policies

At any moment, we retain the right to change this privacy statement. We advise you to frequently check this page for the most recent details on our privacy policies. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Statement, we will notify you by email (if you have an account with us and we have your email address on file) or another method through the Service that we deem reasonably likely to reach you (which may include posting a new privacy statement on our Website—or a specific announcement on this page or on our blog). Any changes to this privacy policy will take effect when we post them online and/or when they are implemented on the service (unless otherwise stated at the time of the change).

Our Cookie Policy

Regarding the way we gather and handle user data, we wish to be completely open and honest. Like practically all Web services, Pass4IT (“Pass4IT”, “we”, or “us”) and our partners collect information about you and how you use our Service using cookies or other similar technologies. To help you learn more about these cookies and technologies, we have prepared this Cookie Policy. Without defining them, we will use the definitions from the Privacy Policy for any terminology we use in this Cookie Policy.
